Dataset

Dear user,

This dataset contains the information required to make the frequency response functions and the time domain data that are used for the manuscript submitted to a special edition of the control systems magazine (https://ieeecss.org/publication/ieee-control-systems-magazine). The manuscript still needs to go through review and typesetting, as such no DOI is yet available. When the folder containing the data is placed in the same folder location as that of the Matlab scripts, they should run without issue. When completed the scripts will produce the same figures as those used in the referenced paper.

The data used in this work (and also uploaded) is generated using QBlade (https://qblade.org) which is developed and maintained by TU Berlin. They are also part of the Floatech Project of which this work is also a part. To generate the data the enterprise version ('licensed version') of QBlade is required. The data is generated using the IEA 15MW turbine mounted on the VolturnUS platform. The use of a standardized turbine and floater design allows for easier comparison between different designs. A model that can be imported into QBlade is included in the data set.
