The dataset contains supporting data for the publication Evidence of secondary bedform controls on river dune migration by Zomer, J.Y. and Hoitink, A.J.F. The objective of the study was to investigate the interaction between primary and secondary river dunes and their contribution to the total sediment transport flux.

The dataset includes river bed elevation data (acquired through multibeam echosounding) and bed grain size data based on river bed samples.

The data was acquired between 7 January 2022 and 25 February 2022 in the river Waal.
