Repository folder containing supporting information for the article in Geochemistry, Geophysics, Geosystems entitled: "A transient in surface motions dominated by deep afterslip subsequent to a shallow supershear earthquake: the 2018 Mw7.5 Palu case."

------------------
The GPS Data folder contains RINEX data files that support the post-seismic observations.

------------------
The Model Data folders contains model output data used to make figures 4-7 of the paper.

Poro-elastic rebound: Fig. 4.
Search parameters: poisson ratio (poisson.dat) and model prediction error (ep.dat)

Visco-elastic relaxation: Fig. 5
Search parameters: thickness of the lower crustal layer (t.dat), viscosity of the lower crustal layer (vis.dat) and model prediction error (ep.dat)

Combined model: Figs. 6 and 7.
Search parameters: rake (rake_*.dat) and slip (slip_*.dat) for the finite fault patches (as shown in ViewMe.gif), poisson ratio (poisson.dat), thickness of the lower crustal layer (t.dat), viscosity of the lower crustal layer (vis.dat) and model prediction error (ep.dat)
This folder also contains a HDef input file fault.flt in which the finite fault geometry is stated (which was then used to generate ViewMe.gif).
The Hdef input file contains a list of fault patches with the following format: lon, lat, depth, strike, dip, rake, slip magnitude, along-dip width, along-strike length

In every single folder, the *.dat files list the data used for making the histograms per parameter, and these were also used to determine the mean values and uncertainties as well as the trade-offs.

The mean.arrow files list the 3D surface displacement vectors (site, lon, lat, east, north,up) of the mean values per model search (i.e., the blue vectors in figures 4-6).
