***General Introduction***
This dataset contains all the data relevant to Chapter 4 of L.M. de Almeida Nieto's doctoral dissertation, produced between 2020 and 2025.
This research project was made possible by by funding from TU Delft.

***Purpose of the files***
These are the design and control files for the two MA-XRF scanners built during the project.
This research project was made possible by by funding from TU Delft.

***Design software***
The mechanical design of the MA-XRF scanners was done using Solidworks 2024.
The control system was programmed in Python 3.

Further information on the design is available in the related publication.

***Description of the files***
The mechanical design files are separated for each scanner, BLBMark1 and BLBMark2.
The files include a mixture of .sldprt, .slddrw, .sldasm, .stl, .dxf, .pdf
The control software is included in 240516_ScannerSoftware, mostly as .py files, and also includes some test measurements of the device as .h5 files.
