***General Introduction***
This dataset contains data collected during the CFD study using Ansys software ran on the cluster of the aerodynamics department of the Delft University of Technology.

***Purpose of the test campaign***
The purpose of these simulations was to compare the flow across a skater with and without a helmet. Furthermore, the purpose was to design a helmet that would reduce the aerodynamic drag of the athlete.

***Description of the data in this data set***
The data included in this data set has been organised as follows:
The mannequin geometry that was produced in MakeHuman and Blender, including the surface mesh is Skater_After_Cleanup_&_Meshed.ansa. This file can be opened in ANSA.

The results of the simulation (velocity, shear stresses, pressure among others) is included in the folder Bare_head. Make sure that all the files inside this folder remain in this folder when storing it locally. By opening the file Results_Bare_Head in Paraview all the flow variables are available of the simulation of the flow around the skater without the helmet.
