***General Introduction***

This dataset is part of Arry Destyanto’s dissertation “A Method for Evaluating Port Resilience in an Archipelago”, funded by the Lembaga Pengelola Dana Pendidikan (LPDP). The study developed a method consisting of 4 analysis phases to evaluate a port’s resilience.

This dataset is used in the first case study of the Port of Pantoloan, which applies the port resilience evaluation method in the context of a commercial container port in Indonesia as an archipelago.

***Description of the data in this dataset***

This dataset is in .zip format, which, when extracted, consists of:
*Folder 1 - Dataset used for phase 1 (Island Connectivity Analysis)*
Content:
- Data in .shp format used in analyzing the hinterland connectivity network with the Port of Pantoloan.
- Sourcecode in .ipynb format to calculate edge density of shipping connectivity
- Dataset in .csv format containing a list of shipping services (edge) connected to the port of Pantoloan
- Dataset in .csv format containing the coordinates of the location of alternative container ports on Sulawesi Island
- Dataset in .csv format from SIMLALA containing ship operation plans in the waters of the Republic of Indonesia.

*Folder 2 - Dataset used for phase 2 (Resilience Curve Analysis)*
Content:
- Data in .csv format in the form of sample data from commercial AIS used to create the resilience curve (only partially shown)
- Data in .xlsx format in the form of sample data from INAPORTNET used to create the resilience curve (only partially shown)
- Sourcecode in .ipynb format to create the resilience curve

*Folder 3 - Dataset used for phase 3 (Disaster Impact Analysis)*
Content:
- Data in .shp format to visualize the condition of the hinterland network with Pantoloan port after disaster impact
- Dataset in .csv format from commercial AIS used to analyze shipping network connectivity after the disaster (only partially shown)
- Dataset in .xlsx format containing a list of shipping services (edge) that are connected to Pantoloan Port after disaster impact
- Dataset in .csv format containing a list of routes per ship based on ship operation plan (RPK) data from SIMLALA after the disaster
- Sourcecode in .ipynb format to calculate the edge density of shipping connectivity after the disaster.

Outside folder:
- Dataset in .xlsx format containing Indonesia Vessels Capacity List 2018 from the Ministry of Transportation.

***Additional note:***
The implementation of phase 4 used the analysis of official documents and mass articles listed in the dissertation.
