***General Introduction***
This daataset contains part of the data collected for the Flight to Vitality project in the years 2019-2020.
It is being made public both to act as supplementary data for publications and the PhD
thesis of Elisa Atza.
The raw data was collected in the years 2019 and 2020 by HZPC, and later processed by the authors at TU Delft.
This research project was made possible by funding from the companies HZPC and Avebe.

***Description of the data in this data set***
The zipped folder contains the following subfolders:
-- Canopy corrected
--- This folder contains 6 csv files each relative to a field and year. The files contain the spatially corrected canopy area measurement per batch in squared centimeters on the measurement date chosen for regression in the paper.
-- Canopy Raw
--- This folder contains 6 csv files each relative to a field and year. The files contain the canopy area measurement per lot and ridge in squared centimeters on all measurement dates available for that field and year.
-- Images
--- This folder contains 6 npy files (images) each relative to a field and year on the measurement date chosen for regression in the paper.
-- Polygons
---This folder contains 6 npy files (python dictionaries) each relative to the image of the same name. All dictionaries have keys from 1 to 720 and values arrays of points coordinates. These dictionaries contain the lot boundaries delimiting different batches planted on the fields on the date chosen for regression in the paper.
-Micro_paper_example_pipeline.py
--This python script displays an example of the routine used to obtain cm^2 measurements from the drone images.

The pdf file is a protocol describing in full detail how the data has been processed including all necessary parameters.
