The data in this data set was collected in the department of Quantum Nanoscience\van der Zant Lab of the
Delft University of Technology - Faculty of Applied Sciences, between September 2019 and March 2023.

*** Measurement Information ***
Datasets were measured in either a (variable temperature) electrical probe station, variable temperature cryogeneic insert ('dip stick') or a He-3/He-4 dilution fridge ().

Two types of data are included:
	1. QCODES databases (.db files)
		- Data files including metadata on instruments, measurement setup, measurement units can be accessed by ID numbers (1,2,3,....)
		- Data can be loaded as a numpy or pandas array in Python.
		- Each measurement entry/id specifies the type of measurement (IV, VI, BVI etc.., here I corresponds to current, V to voltage, B to magnetic field, T to temperature)
		- Each measurement entry/id specifies the measured sample/device (with their own unique label (i.e. A2 or C4 or B8) related to their on-chip position)
		- To access data, use QCODES. See "https://qcodes.github.io/Qcodes/" for instructions on how to install QCoDeS and read these database files.
		- For quick/easy inspection of databases, plottr can be used. See: http://microsoft.github.io/Qcodes/examples/plotting/How-to-use-Plottr-with-QCoDeS-for-live-plotting.html
		- QCODES databases are SQL databases and can be accessed using SQL.
		- In case of (minor) corruptions to the database, SQL can be used to restore data.
	2. .dat files
		- Data files with descriptive headings describing the independent and dependent measurement variables and their units.
		- Can be accessed with a text editor or imported in Python using numpy's genfromtxt command: https://numpy.org/doc/stable/reference/generated/numpy.genfromtxt.html

Also included are unedited images. Edited versions (enhanced contrast, zoomed in, added illustrations) are used in the dissertation.

*** Content description ***

The data is organised per chapter (note: chapters 1-4 here translates to chapters 4-7 in the thesis) according to the following scheme:

Thesisdata.zip:
	- Chapter [1,2,3,4]:
		- Data (.db and .dat)
		- images (.png, .tiff, .bmp)
		- scripts
	- Fabrication
		- raw images used for fabrication chapter.

Each chapter contains a README description of the datasets contained.
