This file contains the data and codes for the article titled 'Impact of Whole-Body Vibrations on Electrovibration Perception Varies with Target Stimulus Duration.' In this article, we investigate the impact of whole-body vibrations induced by external vehicle perturbations, such as aircraft turbulence, on the perception of electrovibration displayed on touchscreens.
The experiment was conducted using SIMONA at the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering, TU Delft. A total of 24 participants took part in the study, experiencing six different conditions: no turbulence, multisite, and Gaussian vibrations with stimulus durations of 0.2 seconds and 0.5 seconds.
The dataset includes measurements and calculations of absolute threshold voltages, average finger speed, average applied forces, the average rate of change in applied forces, and the average displacement error in the vertical direction.
A specific README.txt file is part of this dataset.
