N2 - <p>This dataset provides a Level-3 (gridded on 0.5 deg x 0.5 deg) GRACE product representing Equivalent Water Height (EWH, units: cm) at a 5-day to sub-weekly temporal resolution. It is derived exclusively from GRACE residual Level-1B data*(**), without the use of external geophysical or hydrological models and does not involve inversion.</p><p>The dataset covers the period from <strong>April 2002 to August 2016</strong>.</p><p>To support usage and interpretation, the repository includes:</p><ul><li><strong>Python plotting utilities</strong> (<code>/plotting_tools</code>) for visualizing the results</li><li><strong>Validation resources</strong> (<code>/quality_checks</code>) summarizing multiple quality control checks applied to the data</li><li>A complementary monthly file (<code>bin_count.nc</code>) containing monthly <strong>LGD observation bin counts</strong> for each spatial grid cell (2 deg x 2 deg).</li></ul><p>This dataset is intended for users seeking higher-frequency gravity field variations based solely on GRACE residuals, and may be particularly valuable for hydrological and geophysical analyses.</p><p><br></p><p>*Line-of-Sight Gravity Differences computed from residual Level-1B data provided by the Center for Space Research, CSR, Texas. </p><p>** link provided to original Level-1B data used by CSR. </p>
