cff-version: 1.2.0 abstract: "The PL+ SWAT model hydrology dataset was derived for years 1951-2020 at sub-basin and reach level, with a daily time step. It includes model outputs for 4381 subbasins and river reaches covering the Poland territory and parts of the neighbouring countries from which water drains to Poland. At sub-basin level, the dataset contains average daily water balance components including precipitation total, snowfall, snowmelt, evapotranspiration (actual and potential), surface runoff, percolation, groundwater recharge, groundwater flow, tile flow and water yield (all components in mm/day) and soil water (mm) were included. At reach level it includes average daily streamflow values (m3/s).
The applied model was extensively calibrated and validated following a two-stage, multi-site calibration approach for 88 gauging stations across Poland for the period 2000-2019. The simulations showed satisfactory performance with a median Kling-Gupta efficiency of 0.73 and 0.69 in the calibration and validation period, respectively.
