abstract: "<p>This dataset consists of 169 bibliographic records of scientific literature on mangroves in Mozambique, spanning from 1962 to 2023. It includes metadata such as authors, publication years, title, journals, etc. The dataset was systematically curated through a comprehensive review of the academic databases PubMed, Web of Science, Scielo, and Scopus. The data is served to support analysis of research contributions from various institutions, countries, and regions within Mozambique, with a focus on the temporal distribution and authorship of the studies. It also provides information on the geographic focus of the research, allowing for the identification of key areas of study within the country, as well as contributing countries and institutions. This structured collection serves as a valuable resource for future research and policy development regarding mangrove ecosystems in Mozambique.</p>"
