This dataset includes sediment concentrations and velocities measured at two locations off the Dutch coast, in 8m and 12m of water, 10 km north of the Rhine River mouth. The data included here corresponds to a storm that occurred on days 264-266 in year 2014, where the occurrence of a wave-supported gravity flow event was recorded. This data has been used to determine concentration and velocity profiles and sediment transport. This dataset is part of the NEMO project and the STRAINS experiment off the Dutch coast in September 2014, the latter is initiated by the institutions, Delft University of Technology, University of Washington, NOC, and CINVESTAV. The data may only be used with joint permission from Julie Pietrzak, Alex Horner-Devine, Alex Souza and Marcel Stive. Please submit a request explaining what you would like to do with the data. We ask that any publications arising from our data cite our related STRAINS paper(s) (please see related publication).
