The dataset constists of two files with data obtained in a study on secular trends in global tides derived from satellite altimetry. Both datasets contain linear coefficients describing the trend in amplitude and phases of major tides, based on tidal harmonics computed from global altimetry-derived water levels (from TOPEX/Poseidon and Jason satellites) following from two alternative methods (SegHA vs TintHA). The first (global) dataset contains trends at crossover locations (data stacking applied before analysis). The second data contains trends computed at along-track basis for the North West European Shelf.
