During a set of experiments for monitoring landslides, slope failures were triggered sequentially by undercutting the slope toe with a mechanical excavator. The laboratory investigations made on sampled extracted from the test location are here reported. Details of the experiment can be found in Chapter 5 of the PhD thesis: 'Sand slope failures: experimental and numerical advance'.
