X-ray computed tomography of unidirectional carbon fiber composites
doi: 10.4121/16437297
The collection includes two .tif files, corresponding to two different X-ray computed tomography measurements of unidirectional carbon fibre and poly(ether-ether-ketone) tapes for automated fiber placement.
The data reported was acquired with a Zeiss Xradia 520 Versa, at a resolution of 0.7232 um, voltage-to-power ratio of 100/9 kV/W, exposure time of 6 s with a 2000x2000 pixel detector in binning mode 2 and 4x objective. Three scan volumes were stitched together in the tape longitudinal direction. The measurements were conducted at Naturalis Biodiversity Center, Leiden (NL). A .txt file with a summary of the datasets description is also included.
