Dataset

Relevant newspaper articles from diverse French newspapers on nuclear technologies (and related events). Articles from ideologically diverse newspapers were searched using keywords (nuclear, nuclear technology, atomic) and copied to an excel sheet to create an archive. These articles, 1900 in total, were then analysed to the creation of Topic Models. These guided, probabilistic Topic Models focused on (latent) values, present in the selected articles. These values changed over time. Therefore, this analysis suggests, the appreciation of nuclear technologies changed over time as well.
