Dataset

Dataset underlying the research manuscript where we assessed several saturated hydraulic conductivity-depth profiles and extended soil column thickness in the distributed hydrological model (wflow_sbm) of the Vecht River Basin in Germany and Netherlands. Dataset includes (pre-processed) model input data and outputs. The model inputs were generated using the python package HydroMT-Wflow which set up the ready-to-run wflow_sbm model using global datasets. We used the following datasets: EOBS meteorological forcing, MERIT-HYDRO hydrography, GlobCover land cover, MCD15A3H MODIS leaf area index, and SoilGrids. The model outputs are the simulation results from the implementation of six profiles. For the description of the six profiles, refer to the associated manuscript.
