doi: 10.4121/c6bdb895-77ef-491f-b0c7-10d50c57dcbd
This dataset comprises a systematic review analyzing both objective and subjective evaluations of osseous genioplasty outcomes. The research aims to address knowledge gaps in isolated genioplasty assessments, emphasizing the need for standardized evaluation methods. Data were collected through a structured literature review across multiple databases, screening 2563 references and including 105 studies from 25 countries. The dataset includes diverse data types such as surgical characteristics, patient demographics, and outcome measures, focusing on surgical accuracy, aesthetics, patient satisfaction, and complications. The findings underscore the necessity for validated assessment tools and patient-centered prospective studies to enhance the understanding of genioplasty outcomes.
