Dataset

A zipped collection of data, codes, and scripts applied in the PhD thesis "From Colors to Spectra and Back Again". We address several challenges in the context of spectral rendering, including efficient wavelength importance samping, color-to-spectrum uplifting, and artist-controllable color metamerism effects. Development of the thesis has resulted in C++/OpenGL implementations of spectral rendering and data analysis methods which are bundled in this dataset in accordance with each chapter in the thesis. We further include all test data, which is artificial (no physical data collection was performed). Test data is either spectral rendering scenes (chapters 2, 3, 4), or embedding data (appendix A).
