Dataset

This dataset is accompanying Hanggai's PhD thesis-chapter 4, titled "Preparation and calorimetric measurements of the first order magnetic phase transformation in giant magnetocaloric Fe-rich (Mn,Fe)2(P,Si) ribbons and bulk" It includes XRD, magnetization, heat capacity measurements data. In this part of the work, we aimed to study the structure, magnetic properties and latent heat of the giant magnetocaloric materials of the(Mn,Fe)2(P,Si) compounds, which exhibit first-order phase transitions. The dataset consists of original experimental data, with samples prepared using ball milling and melt spinning techniques. Characterization methods include X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), magnetization and heat capacity measurements.

The dataset contains files in the following formats: .DAT, .TIF, .PNG, and .XRDML.
