Dataset

This set concerns coded fragments from interviews transcripts with residents living in the urban area of the urban development project in Buiksloterham&Co. The document contains text fragments in which residents discuss the ways in which they feel enabled or constraint to convert the project's design interventions into their own functionings, or in other words, whether the realized interventions 'work for them'. The fragments are categorised according to the coded conversion factors - that are either organisational, personal, social, or spatial. The data set forms part of a qualitative case-study on an urban development project in which planners' intentions for social sustainability were juxtaposed with residents' experiences of social sustainability.
