Dataset

This data-set includes the inputs and results from the simulations used to create the results of the paper 'How 3D processes drive trench infill and sand wave regeneration after dredging' submitted to Journal of Geophysical Research: Earth Surface, by the authors. The data is structured per model simulation, of which some are restarts of earlier models (indicated by the number in the folder). The model results for each run are included in the DFM_OUTPUT_NEMO file in each model folder. The map output is generated as 128 separate files, due to the parallellisation of the model (over 128 cores), the observatioin outpur consists of a single file. The diagnostics files are also included. The simulations were run on the Snellius super computer, using the 2023.03 version of the Delft3D FM software.

DATA - under embargo

The files in this dataset are under embargo until 2027-06-03.

Reason

Data will become publicly available after acceptance of the article. Earlier open access publication may hamper the publication process. Additional efforts will be put into creating a data structure in which duplicates of files (such as identical model input) can be omitted, while keeping reproducability.
