Dataset

The data refers to finite-element (FE) simulations of ultrasonic guided wave (GW) propagation on one critical area of a full scale torsion box stiffened panel, entirely made of thermoplastic composite material. The purpose of this study was to enable the analysis of the reliability of the GW based structural health monitoring (SHM) system designed for the monitored area. The conducted research was integrated in the Thermoplastic Affordable Primary Aircraft Structure 2 (TAPAS 2) project, financed by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency of the Ministry of Economic Affairs.
