Dataset

The goal of this work is to functionalize polyelectrolyte complex saloplastics with lysozyme by salt annealing. The pore formation and closing were systematically studied first. After determining the suitable conditions, the loading of lysozyme was conducted via two routes. The functionalized saloplastics have shown enzymatic activity which remained stable for 7 days. With this simple but effective post-treatment, it is possible to incorporate bio-contents into saloplastics which is difficult for conventional plastics.
