This is a dataset that is used in the manuscript "Asymmetric mono-reduction of α,β-dicarbonyls to α-hydroxy carbonyls by ene reductases". Our aim in this manuscript is to show that OYE family of enzymes are able to catalyze the reduction of vicinal diketones. The dataset includes Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Spectrometer results in MestReNova files, where each file is labelled as its reference from the manuscript figure. We also provide Gas Chromatography (GC) and High Pressure Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) data in the form of excel where chromatograms and the area and retention times have been copy/pasted. Along side those data are the calculations used to formulate the tables or figures in the manuscript, and are labelled according to their tables and figures as shown in the manuscript.
