This collection contains data collected during mangrove-mudflat campaign in Guyana, during the PhD Thesis project of Uwe Best. It is being made public both to act as supplementary data for publications and the final PhD thesis document, as well as to allow for open usage by other researchers in their own work.

Soil samples are collected at all measurement locations along transect MB, from the top layer (<2cm) of the soil. In addition to conducting a particle size analysis, the organic matter content is analyzed. Along the transect, measurements for the sediment properties were collected including the dry and bulk density, grain size, water content and atterberg limits.
The README file contains additional detail on the structure of the data.
