ENVI-met is a computation fluid dynamics (CFD) microclimatic simulation software. In order to perform a simulation, it requires two main inputs: 3D model of the area and starting climate boundary conditions. The 3D model in .INX format stores spatial data such as topography, buildings vegetation and various surface materials. This dataset includes two .INX files of the Floriade district in Almere (NL), and the related database. The first model represents the masterplan, with full grown trees (forest and arboretum) and the second model represents a scenario without vegetation. Input climate data for a selected hot day has been retrieved from a near KNMI weather station in Lelystadt.
