Dataset

This dataset is related to Chapter 5 of my PhD thesis, titled "Bridging the gap between microscopic and macroscopic descriptions of the first-order magneto-elastic field-induced transition in (Mn,Fe)2(P,Si)" It includes XRD, XAS, SEM/EDS, magnetization measurements. In this part of the work, we aimed to investigate the microscale, local-field-induced transitions in giant magnetocaloric materials of the (Mn,Fe)2(P,Si) type, which exhibit first-order phase transitions. The dataset consists of original experimental data, with samples prepared using ball milling and melt spinning techniques. Characterization methods include X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS), X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD), and magnetization measurements. The dataset contains files in the following formats: .DAT, .TIF, .PNG, and .XRDML.
