Erosive conditions (scale 1:10) were used to model the offshore migration of a shore parallel and bar. Testing followed the testing regime used during the SANDS project. Sediment was scaled in both density and diameter (ρs = 1200 kg/m3 and d50 = 0.54 mm) allowing the Shields number, particle Reynolds number and relative fall velocity to be preserved.
