Matheus H C Barboza is a PhD candidate at the University of São Paulo and the University of Twente, where he researches accessibility and mobility inequalities using mobile phone data. He has an educational background in Civil Engineering, aiming at an interdisciplinary perspective. He possesses experience working as a transport planning consultant in multiple cities and countries in the Global South. Known as an organized, responsible, and resilient person, he is interested in investigating the field of Transport Planning to assess and improve accessibility levels for the most excluded groups based on data analysis.
